The visionary game developer, who helped create the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.

The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The celebrated game designer died after his automobile collided and caught fire on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, as reported by.
